During my recent trip to Najac, I had the pleasure of staying at Logis Hôtel Restaurant Belle Rive, which turned out to be a delightful retreat for someone with a keen eye for both comfort and sustainability. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, and it was lovely to be shown to our room, which boasted a stunning view of the historic Najac Castle. The terrace is a fantastic spot to enjoy meals under the trees while being serenaded by the gentle sound of the Aveyron River flowing by. As an environmental scientist, I appreciated the hotel's commitment to sustainable practices-everything from the water appliances to the locally-sourced ingredients in their restaurant menu. Although our room was comfortable, the bed could use an upgrade to improve the overall experience. One drawback was the late-night accessibility; returning from dinner felt like a mini adventure as we navigated the darkened paths. The charming atmosphere more than made up for it. I would definitely recommend Belle Rive for a stay that seamlessly combines rustic charm, family-run warmth, and thoughtful eco-consciousness!
